Deposits, withdrawals and verification
Jackpot City supports rand deposits through local banks and provides several withdrawal options. A method shown on the public site may not be available for every account or transaction, so use the logged-in cashier as the current list.
Jackpot City deposit methods
The main site names Instant EFT, Capitec, FNB, ABSA, debit and credit cards, and vouchers. The FAQ groups the available funding options as:
- credit and debit cards;
- EFT;
- vouchers;
- direct deposits.
Payment logos shown on a public footer do not necessarily describe every account, transaction size or withdrawal path. Log in and check the cashier before choosing a method.
How to make a deposit
Jackpot City gives this deposit flow:
- Log in to the Jackpot City account.
- Open My Account.
- Select Deposit Funds.
- Choose an available deposit method.
- Follow the prompts for that method.
Use a payment instrument in the account holder’s own name. Keep the payment confirmation until the balance and transaction history show the correct result.
When a deposit does not appear
For an instant method that completed successfully but does not show in the balance, Jackpot City advises refreshing the account balance. If the amount remains missing, a connection failure between the bank and Jackpot City may be involved. Support may ask for PDF proof of deposit by live chat or email, and escalation may take up to 48 hours.
The 48-hour figure is an escalation estimate, not a guaranteed resolution time. Do not repeat the deposit simply because the first balance update is delayed.
Jackpot City withdrawal methods
Jackpot City lists EFT, 1Voucher and cash-send options including SB Instant Money, Absa Cash Send and Nedbank Send-iMali. It does not pay into third-party bank accounts and uses the bank account or method supplied during the withdrawal request.
The documented withdrawal flow is:
- Log in and open My Account.
- Select Withdraw Funds.
- Provide the requested bank-account details.
- Enter the withdrawal amount and proceed.
- Supply any outstanding FICA-related information requested by Jackpot City.
How long can a withdrawal take?
Jackpot City says that, with required documents in place, a withdrawal may be completed within minutes to an hour, while technical delays or manual reconciliation can extend the process. Its FAQ says most cases should not exceed 24 business hours, while the homepage uses broader wording and allows a few business days depending on the bank.
Because those descriptions differ, do not present “instant withdrawal” as a guarantee. Bank processing, verification, payment method and account review can all affect timing. A dated Hellopeter profile also contained complaints about withdrawals and support delays. Those user posts are not proof of individual failures, but they support keeping records and starting with a modest transaction.
FICA and account matching
Jackpot City may contact a player for outstanding FICA information before withdrawal. Complete requests through Jackpot City support and make sure the name on the account, documents and banking method is consistent.
Never send identity documents, card details or one-time codes to an unofficial social-media profile. Jackpot City support should not need your password to investigate a transaction.
Payment checklist

- Do not cancel and repeat transactions without understanding their status.
Read the South Africa page for company and licence information and the review for a broader assessment.
